Dr. Ketan Parmar is a Psychiatrist in Mumbai with over 25 years of experience. An alumnus of Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Charitable Hospital, Dr. Parmar obtained the postgraduate MD (Psychiatry) degree in January 1990 and Diploma in Psychological Medicine (DPM) in 1992. He has been functioning as a Consultant Psychiatrist since May 1992 and is Ex-Honorary Associate Psychiatrist, Department of Psychiatry, KB Bhabha Hospital, Mumbai.

Dr. Ketan Parmar is proficient in the management of various psychiatric disorders and emergencies such as handling violent schizophrenic and manic patients. He has experience in the treatment of substance abuse disorders and delirium; management of personality disorders such as borderline personality and anti-social personality; suicide prevention; and, administering electroconvulsive therapy.

Dr. Parmar held the post of Lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry at BYL Nair Hospital & TN Medical College in September 1991 and then at LTMG Hospital and LTM Medical College, Mumbai, from September 1991 to April 1992. During this period he independently managed the OPD and indoor male and female wards as well as the specialised de-addiction OPD and male & female indoor de-addiction wards.
